Journal 7

On this episode they are trying to get a lady to dress her age, her name is Jodi and she is 51. She said she is desperate not to get old and thinks dressing like a teenager will stop her from aging. NOT!!! The stylist are trying to get her to understand that dressing her age doesn't mean she has to dress like an old lady. They are wanting her to stop shopping in the juniors department and learn to be sexy, modern, sheik, and age appropriate. The way you dress is a reflection of you and can be the first impression you make on people.
Rule number one for Jodi was to stay out of the juniors department and shop in an age appropriate department store. Rule number two was to get some basics in her closet because everything she owned was very busy. I personally don't think they were much help to her but she did look a little better just because she had on age appropriate clothing. I think dressing for success looks conservative, soft, simple with a touch of sexy. Dressing for success is important to me because when you look good you feel good.
